Case Study
St Andrew's Cathedral
St Andrew's Cathedral in Glasgow has stood for nearly 200 years and it is currently undergoing a complete renovation, Tusk has already played a key part in the success of this project.
Tusk's first task was actually inside the Cathedral itself where the size of the entrances limited what plant could be used, however due to our capability and experience with compact machinery, Tusk were able to carefully excavate and remove 1250m3 of existing material before replacing this with type 1 aggregate and a new concrete floor.
The renovation includes the construction of cloisters and an Italian garden whose concrete works have been successfully completed by Tusk. In addition to these concrete works Tusk have complete the hard and soft landscaping around the Cathedral which includes 2500m2 of Italian slate paving.
